About the Scholarship

The LVA offers annual scholarships to graduating seniors at Dana Hills High School who also live within the Lantern Village area (see map). We offer scholarships for trade school, two and four year college programs.

Applications are due March 31 of each year. The high school presents the award at the annual Awards Ceremony in May.

2025Joslyn Corral
2025 Lantern Village Scholarship Award Major: Psychology

Joslyn Corral was the 2025 LVA Scholarship recipient. Her
academic honors include Scholar Athlete Award (2023-2024), Principals Honors Roll
Award (2021-2024) and the Superintendents/Principals Honor Roll Award (2023 &
2024). In 2025 she received the “Pillars of Excellence Award.” Joslyn planned to major
in psychology at Cal State Fullerton.

Lantern Village Association 2024 Scholarship RecipientMajor: Child Development and Family Studies.

Liliana Schwartzman was our 2024 LVA Scholarship recipient. Her academic honors
include Superintendent’s Honor Roll (9th-12th grade), California Scholarship Federation
Life Member (12th grade), French Honor Society (10th & 11th grade) and the Dana Hills
French Academic Achievement Award (10th grade).

Lantern Village Association 2023 RecipientGrace Miller was our 2023 Scholarship recipient. Her academic awards include
California Scholarship Federation Life Member (12th grade) and the Superintendent and
Principal’s Honor Roll (9th-12th grade).

Our 2022 Scholarship recipient was Arianna Abrami. She was on the Principal’s Honor
Roll and also an AVID Scholar with Honors.
